Two weeks ago, Evelyn started peeing in the potty regularly and refusing to wear diapers. She want to wear panties! And not just any panties. They must be either blue or printed with animals. Suddenly we do less laundry (no diapers), but more frequent loads (to get the blue panties through). Conveniently, she considers training pants to be "panties" too. Conveniently, training pants can be purchased individually, instead of in packs of multiple colors. We only need the blue ones.
Her favorite color among blues is turquoise. Her clothes are starting to coordinate more as they converge on this one color.
Do you like the new "baby on the way" widget on the left sidebar? The countdown part bugs me, because a due date is probably not the day a baby will arrive. I should just ask Cheri... Cheri, what's your guess for the next baby's arrival?

hee hee....I say October 21. Although I hope it's October 20!! I'll have to start the baby pool up again later. I think my official guess will be boy, Oct 20, cuz that's what I'm hoping for (which is why I picked Girl, Feb 7- I liked the sound of Feb 7) See, there's a lot of science to it!!
well our family does have shared and conjoined birthdays (Cheri&Steve, Jessica&Nick, Cyndi&Rachel) that's for sure!! and that's just among gmarti and Pa progeny. So I figure either Oct 20 or 21.
either way, hooray!!! I love the baby picture. I guess it changes every day? It is amazing how baby-like it is already.
and I am saving up my vacation days now for October!!
I'm glad to know Evelyn's favorite blue is turquoise. I have got the backing, the batting, and the pattern for the quilt (and a few quilting supplies from Celia's) but I need to get two more fabrics. That will help with the color theme.
AWESOME Jessi! VERY Awesome! We're about 2 years away from pl, but then again, w/what I've spent on these diapes (and as small as his tush is), we can stay in them for a WHILE, s'ok with me!!
Of course it'll be born on October 20th, it has to steal my thunder, Smedley-style.
