Evelyn loves balls. She throws them into the air and they land on top of her head. She looks surprised and pats her head, then chases after the ball to do it again.
The other night at church she saw some teenagers playing wiffle ball. She watched those boys throwing the wiffle ball around, with their arm to the side. Then she started throwing her ball with her arm to the side (and her other arm reaching around to help hold the ball). She gets a lot more oomph in the throw this way, but the direction of the throw is totally random. Most of the time the ball goes backwards.

maybe Evelyn will pitch for the Cubs. I know she would do a better job than Glendon Rusch. Maybe even at this age.
